How seller payouts and Stripe Connect work

Set up seller payouts, complete Stripe Connect verification, understand available balances, choose a bank or debit destination, transfer earnings, and troubleshoot payout delays.

The short answer: Complete identity and payout verification, add an eligible bank account or debit card, reconcile the seller credit balance, then transfer only the eligible available amount. Stripe and the financial institution control final destination eligibility and arrival time.

Before transferring

Understand seller credits and payout availability

Seller sales and adjustments are recorded in the credit ledger. The headline balance can include amounts with different states, so available funds, pending funds, requested withdrawals, promotional credits, and refunded amounts should not be treated as one cash figure.

First reconcile the 5% marketplace commission and 2.9% transaction fee using the seller fee guide. Then review recent order completion, refunds, holds, and prior transfers.

Stripe Connect

Connect and verify the payout account

  1. 1

    Open seller payout setup

Use the Payouts or transfer area connected to the shop or seller credits.

  2. 2

    Start Stripe onboarding

Enter accurate identity, business, ownership, contact, and tax information requested by Stripe.

  3. 3

    Complete verification

Resolve missing requirements until the connected account can receive payouts.

  4. 4

    Add a destination

Add an eligible ACH bank account or supported debit card for the relevant currency.

  5. 5

    Return to EzBuyCo

Confirm that payout readiness and destination information are reflected before transferring.

Verification is controlled by the provider EzBuyCo can open and display the connection workflow, but Stripe determines identity requirements, payout capability, destination eligibility, and some timing.
Transfer earnings

Choose an amount and destination carefully

Open the seller transfer screen, select the number of eligible seller points or credits to transfer, and review the cash amount shown. Choose an available Stripe payout destination for its currency. The selected account can become the default destination for that currency.

Verify the amount and destination before submitting. A completed EzBuyCo transfer record means the platform sent the payout instruction; it does not necessarily mean the bank has posted final funds.

Troubleshooting

Fix common payout blockers

  • Payouts not enabled: return to Stripe and complete outstanding identity or business requirements.
  • No destination: add an eligible bank account or debit card for the payout currency.
  • Balance unavailable: review pending orders, holds, refunds, withdrawal requests, and credit type.
  • Destination rejected: confirm account ownership, routing details, currency, country, and provider eligibility.
  • Transfer delayed: compare EzBuyCo transfer history, Stripe status, and bank posting before escalating.
Security

Protect payout changes

Limit payout access to trusted account owners, use a unique password, protect email and phone recovery channels, and review any notification about changed banking or identity information.

EzBuyCo support should never need your full online banking password, full card number, or one-time authentication code. Use the provider-hosted setup flow for sensitive financial details.
