Clear Standards for a Trusted Marketplace

EzBuyCo Seller Guidelines outline expectations for listings, fulfillment, communication, and conduct to help maintain a fair and reliable marketplace.

Eligibility, account accuracy, and shop readiness

Sellers must provide accurate identity, contact, business, tax, and payout information requested by the platform or payment provider and keep it current. Do not share the owner login; use seller sub-users and least-privilege permissions for team members.

Before listing, complete the shop profile, operating policies, fulfillment origin, payout setup, and required verification. Use the seller onboarding hub and start-selling guide.

Listings, inventory, and prohibited conduct

Listings must use accurate titles, images, condition, variants, quantity, price, product type, delivery method, and material restrictions. Sellers must have the right to sell the item and use its text, images, brands, and other intellectual property.

  • Do not list unlawful, unsafe, counterfeit, recalled, stolen, or otherwise prohibited goods.
  • Do not manipulate search, reviews, condition, inventory, or category placement.
  • Do not direct buyers to off-platform payment or misstate what the buyer will receive.

Review products and inventory before activation.

Orders, fulfillment, and customer service

Confirm the recorded payment state before fulfillment. Meet the handling, shipping, pickup, digital, service, or restaurant commitment selected at checkout; package items safely; and add accurate tracking or readiness information. Keep pickup verification codes private until handoff.

Respond professionally through marketplace messages and use the dedicated cancellation, return, and dispute workflows. Delays, substitutions, stock errors, or safety issues must be communicated promptly. See fulfilling seller orders and shipping profiles and tracking.

Seller fees and financial records

EzBuyCo charges a 5% marketplace commission plus a separately labeled transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per seller invoice, calculated from the recorded commissionable amount. These seller charges are deducted from seller proceeds and are not added to the buyer checkout total. Refunds can reverse or prorate the corresponding recorded charges.

Optional promotion charges, shipping-service charges, dispute costs, currency effects, taxes, or provider-controlled payout fees may also affect settlement. The seller order, credit ledger, reports, and payout history are the source of truth. See seller fees explained.

Performance, enforcement, and updates

EzBuyCo may review listing accuracy, response, cancellation, tracking, delivery, refund, dispute, fraud, safety, and account-verification signals. Depending on severity and history, action can include a warning, listing correction or removal, fund hold, privilege restriction, suspension, or termination. Urgent fraud, prohibited-item, legal, or safety risks may require action without advance notice.

Sellers must also follow the Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refunds, and policies incorporated there. Material changes will be posted through the site or account communications with an updated effective date.
