The short answer: Use one account identity consistently, keep its email and phone current, recover access through the official forgot-password flow, and never share a password, payment credential, or one-time verification code with a seller or support message.
Register and sign in with the same identity
Registration creates the account that owns orders, messages, addresses, balances, seller tools, and referral activity. Complete any email or phone verification shown during signup, then use that same sign-in identity each time.
If an order or role appears missing, check whether you used a different email address, phone number, or connected sign-in method. Creating another account does not merge the records automatically.
-
1
Use the official sign-in page
Open EzBuyCo directly and enter your account email, phone, or supported connected sign-in.
-
2
Complete verification
Enter a one-time code only on the EzBuyCo or provider screen that requested it.
-
3
Open Account Settings
Confirm the profile, email, phone, addresses, and notification information are current.
Reset a forgotten password safely
Choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen and submit the email address connected to the account. Use the newest reset message; earlier links may expire after another request or after a successful password change.
If no message arrives, check spam, search for EzBuyCo, wait briefly, and verify the address before requesting another link. Support can help identify the correct recovery path but should not ask for your existing password or one-time code.
Update credentials, privacy, and notifications
Changing an address-book entry does not necessarily change an order already placed. For an active order, open its details and contact the seller or support immediately.
- Use Account Settings for profile information and Update Credentials for email or password changes.
- Review saved addresses and remove destinations you no longer control.
- Use Cookie Preferences where available, and use the privacy/contact process for access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
- Keep order and security notifications enabled on at least one channel you actively monitor.
Recognize phishing and account takeover attempts
| Safe practice | Warning sign |
|---|---|
| Sign in through EzBuyCo or a provider-hosted page. | A message asks you to sign in through an unfamiliar link or attachment. |
| Keep order communication in marketplace messages. | A seller or buyer pressures you to pay or refund outside EzBuyCo. |
| Share only the information needed for the task. | Someone asks for a password, full card number, banking password, or one-time code. |
Frequently asked questions
Can support tell me my current password?
No. Use the official reset flow; support should never know or request your current password.
Why did a reset link stop working?
It may have expired, already been used, or been replaced by a newer request. Request a fresh link from the official sign-in page.
Can two accounts be merged?
Account records are identity-specific and are not automatically merged. Contact support with both identities and no sensitive credentials if duplicate accounts are causing a problem.
