The short answer: Learn how a maximum CPC, bidding target, keywords, artwork, and placement choices affect your seller campaign.
Separate the bid limit from the target
Maximum CPC is a hard limit for qualified clicks under every bidding strategy. A target is an average goal, not a guaranteed price. Review the selected strategy, maximum CPC, campaign budget, and schedule before saving.
Campaign eligibility still depends on approval, an active schedule, product availability, and budget or wallet rules. A saved campaign is not a guarantee of impressions or sales.
Choose useful targeting
-
1
Add relevant terms
Enter keywords for the product or shop being promoted. The form accepts comma or newline-separated terms; for example, office desk and standing desk.
-
2
Exclude unwanted traffic
Negative keywords exclude unwanted matches, such as repair or replacement parts when those are not what you sell.
-
3
Review results
Compare campaign spend and billed clicks with the resulting traffic and orders before changing a target.
Choose where ads can appear
Leaving all placement choices unchecked uses eligible EzBuyCo placements and keeps partner ads off. To make an eligible product campaign available outside EzBuyCo, explicitly choose the external placement. Read the external product ads guide before opting in.
Artwork is adapted for desktop, tablet, and mobile. You can upload several designs to test different messages. Check the destination and product availability, as well as the image, before submitting.
Read the right numbers
Billed clicks, spend, attributed visits, and all shop or product views describe different activity. Do not treat all destination views as paid clicks. Use the promotion guide and reporting tools to understand performance.
